On Wednesday, January 11 the girls turned 11 months old...one year is knocking on the door! The past month was so much fun. We celebrated the girls' first Christmas and had a wonderful time visiting with great friends and dear family.
Eileen is crawling up a storm and really wanting to walk. She pulls herself up on everything and loves standing at the front door to say wave hello and bye-bye when we come home or leave for work. Margaret crawled forward (she has been scooting backwards for a couple of weeks) for the first time today! Go Margaret! Margaret still is "talking" up and storm and will parrot things we say like "guacamole" or "beautiful".
Eileen and Margaret outgrew their infant car seats last month and are now in their big girl car seats (still facing backwards though). Bath time is their favorite time of day but I would say that walks are a close second. They are absolutely obsessed with dogs and laugh and squeal with glee every time we see one when we are out and about or read about them in books.
