Johnson, Johnson, and Johnson: 13 Months Old!

Last Sunday Eileen and Margaret hit the big 13 months! We had a wonderful weekend with the girls' second week of swim lessons at the Greenlake pool and two spins around the neighborhood in their new radio flyer wagon (Thanks again, Mer and Erin!). Grandma Cary stopped by for a visit on Saturday, Grandma Trish and Grandpa Jeff were in town for the weekend, and Grandpa Dave came down from Whidbey for a visit on Sunday.

Uncle Jim came home for a visit from New Orleans last week and the girls and I spent a fun weekend in Olympia with him. Grandma Trish, Uncle Jim and I took them on the beautiful walk around Tumwater Falls and we got to spend time with Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandpa Hood who are both doing so much better after their recent health scares.

Margaret is really talking up a storm. I would say she has about 20 or so words she regularly says now. Today she said her first sentence while playing with her dollhouse, "Dada night-night!" Eileen's talking really took off today too and she will sing ("aaaaahhhhh") when I ask her to. Eileen is going to walk any day now. She loves using her highchair as a walker by pushing it around the kitchen and goes straight to her ladybug ride-on toy when in the living room. Margaret's new favorite past time is playing catch. She can actually throw the ball! Both girls love playing chase and hiding from us when we say we are coming to get them. They've even figured out hide 'n seek and are so proud when they find their dad!
