Hannah's First Holiday Season!

Our 2013 Johnson Family Christmas Card Picture ~ Hannah, Eileen, and Margaret
I'm finding it much harder to keep up with this blog with 3 little ones in the house!  Now that we are well into 2014, and I missed posting pictures of Thanksgiving and Christmas, I've decided that this post is about Hannah's first holiday season.

After our annual pre-Thanksgiving party, Robby's favorite day of the year, (thanks for taking the twins, Pat and Cary!), we celebrated Hannah's first Thanksgiving at Care and PopPop's.

After Thanksgiving day we jumped right into the Christmas spirit.  Seattle's Macy's parade and the girls' first Santa sighting, Whidbey Island for our annual Christmas tree excursion with Bompa Dave, cookies, gingerbread houses, and more!  What a difference a year makes...Eileen and Margaret were so much fun this Christmas.  It was like being a kid again watching them take it all in!

The weekend before Christmas we made the trek south to celebrate Christmas with the Portland Johnsons and to see our good friends the Brajcichs.  We had a really, really fun time....again, what a difference a year makes.  Traveling with almost 3 year olds is SO MUCH EASIER than almost 2 year olds.  And, of course, Hannah was her usual easy-peasy self.

On the way home we stopped by Olympia for dinner at Nona and Bompa Jeff's and got this gem of a picture of four generations ~ Nona with Margaret, Momma with Eileen, and Grandma Eileen with Hannah

We celebrated Christmas Eve at our house with Bompa Dave, Uncle AJ, Aunt Malia, and Quentin.  The girls loved their princess outfits and immediately had to put them on (thanks Malia, AJ, and Q)!

Christmas morning finally arrived and Santa came through with baby strollers for the twins (well, Margaret's was a few days late but Santa left a nice note for her and she completely understood). :) Then Care, PopPop, and the aunties came over for presents and fun.

Happy day!

Next it was back down to Nona and Bompa Jeff's house for Christmas dinner with the Stier/Hood clan in Olympia.  We were so happy to have Uncle Jim in town from New Orleans for the celebration.

New shopping carts from Bompa and Nona...yay!!!
