Special Spring Visitors

Aunt Jenny with Margaret, Uncle Jim with Hannah, and Eileen

We have been very lucky to have visits from some wonderful friends and family over the past few weeks.  Our former nanny, Maria, came to catch up with the girls after almost 6 months (she could hardly believe how big they had grown!) and my dear friend from college Shannon came to stay and help for a few days while Rob was on a work trip in the bay area.  So much fun!  Uncle Jim and Jenny came all the way from New Orleans to Seattle for a visit as well.  We had a great time celebrating their engagement and catching up.  The twins even had an exclusive trip to the bagel shop and bagel park with Jim and Jenny because, as Leenie puts it, "grown-ups talk to much" and they wanted some special time with their uncle and auntie.

Hannah turned 9 months old today and it made me realize that I never posted her 8 month photo (see below)...ooops!  Hannah has been busy trying to crawl (she's mastered the backwards scoot and downward dog pose) and growing her two first bottom teeth.  Her first word was definitely "Dada" and she now can say "Dah" for dog and "Wahwah" for momma.  My first Mother's Day with my three beautiful daughters was spent partially at urgent care where we went after sweet Leenie got her finger slammed in the trunk of the car.  All was ok, thankfully!  Every day Leenie likes to show us how her finger is getting better and better.  Eileen is our PDA queen and constantly showers all of us with hugs and kisses.  Miss Margaret has still been sick every other week.  Hopefully she will finally kick all of these bugs in June.  You can tell she just hasn't been herself, poor baby.  My favorite Margaret-ism from the past month is when she asks us if we will do her a favor by saying, "Will you do me a favorite?"  Too cute!  Margs is also very proud that she can sing all of Do-Re-Mi from Sound of Music and we listen to it over and over whenever we are in the car.  Leenie's usual request is Sixteen Going on 17.  Here are some of our favorite pictures from the past month.
