| At Schilter Family Farm in Olympia with our little pumpkins ~ Eileen, Mom with Hannah, and Dad with Margaret |
What a lovely fall! We have been blessed with truly beautiful weather and such fun times with friends and family. I've had an especially wonderful past few weeks with a handful of great date nights with Robby and a quick trip to New York to visit my dear friend Shannon to see 3 broadway shows in 48 hours.

Last weekend was our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with Nona and Bompa Jeff and the girls loved every second despite the rain clouds. Margs was very proud that she rode the cow train and a pony this year. Last time around she would have none of it...what a difference a year makes!

Hannah took her first steps on Monday and was oh so proud of herself giggling all the way. She still prefers to crawl but you can tell that she is going to take off any moment now. Today she very clearly said her first sentence, "Read the book." We were upstairs playing and she said it 3 times in a row while bringing the butterfly book to me. She says "boop" (aka "book") all the time but this was new and very exciting! She loves to look at her books and if you are ever looking for Hannah chances are she is in the playroom at the bookshelf with a pile of books around her.

Eileen wrote her name all by herself at school this week and is holding firm to pink being her favorite color (getting her to wear her purple fleece jacket this week has been quite the battle). Margaret would ride her bike all over the city if she could and has discovered that she actually likes milk. Funny, sweet kiddos. We are so lucky they are our little ones.
