Jim and Jenny's Wedding and Trip to New Orleans

Our little family walking down the aisle at Jim and Jenny's wedding ceremony

I'm really far behind on this post but the memories of our special trip to New Orleans for Jim and Jenny's wedding are still very vivid.  Despite the fact that every single person in our family was on antibiotics the week of the trip, we pulled it together and were able to have a fun time in New Orleans.  It helped that on the flights down and home many of my aunts and uncles were also on board so Hannah wasn't able to make it too far when she decided to bolt down the aisle.  We rented a beautiful home with Bompa Jeff and Nona on the outskirts of the French Quarter that was the perfect home base for all of the wedding activities.  Once we got there there we could walk everywhere we needed to be for the next few days.  It was absolutely freezing in the days leading up to the wedding but on Saturday, February 28 (the big day) the sun was shining.  Jim and Jenny were a stunning bride and groom and the ceremony and reception at the Beauregard Keyes house was spectacular.  Robby was amazing in taking the kiddos home to bed so I could stay for the Second Line around the French Quarter at the end of the reception (the highlight of the trip for me!) and post-wedding festivities on Bourbon Street.  The day after the wedding we were able to take in a few New Orleans sights and ride the streetcar to Jim and Jenny's house before flying back to Seattle.  The girls were great on the flight and even slept for a few hours.  It was a whirlwind trip but I'm so glad we were there to celebrate the marriage of our wonderful Jim and Jenny.

It was so fun getting to spend some time with Jenny's family
