| Margaret and Eileen loving their new house (and laughing at Grandpa Stier!) |
It has been a very, very busy month since my last post. We moved into our new house on Monday, June 27 and I started back at work at Pacific Northwest Ballet on Friday, July 1. Needless to say it has been a wee bit crazy! Rob and I also celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary on July 4 and Eileen and Margaret turned 5 months old on July 11.

The house is still a work in progress but it feels good to finally be a bit more settled now that some of the initial big home improvements have been done. Eileen and Margaret embraced their new home immediately. They had been sharing a crib in our room at our Eastlake apartment since we brought them home from the hospital and now they are in their own room in their own cribs. What big girls! They've pretty much been sleeping through the night since our first night here and go down for their naps without a fuss (usually). This is much different than at the old place (Margaret especially never wanted to nap...too much fun to be had!). They are laughing, smiling and "talking" all of the time and very interested in their toys (especially Sophie the giraffe, Ella the elephant and good old Marshall the monkey). It is so amazing to hear their squeals of glee and see their faces light up when we pick them up out of their cribs in the morning and it makes everything worth it when we see the same thing when we walk in the door from a day at the office. Eileen and Margaret are an absolute joy.
