Eileen and Margaret turned 6 months old last Thursday, August 11. They really seem to be growing by leaps and bounds right now. Eileen rolled over from front to back last Tuesday and yesterday I turned my back on her for one second and she had rolled from back to front. Margaret hasn't rolled over in front of us since the evening of Helen's wedding, but we think she may be rolling over in her crib at night. Both girls are all over the place while they sleep.
The girls have been loving their brown rice cereal and yesterday tried peaches for the first time...yummy! We stopped their dream feed two nights ago and they have slept through the night no problem. I guess it is true what they say about solid foods really making a difference. They are a couple of little chatterboxes and we can hear them "singing" in their cribs when they don't want to sleep. Suddenly they are much more into playtime too. They think peek-a-boo is hilarious and are really into their toys, especially the keys and Sophie the giraffe. And they have found their feet! Oh my gosh, I almost forgot to mention how much they love their monkey (Margaret) and lion (Eileen) loveys. Those are their absolute favorites!
On the house front, Robby took last week off from work and has been working incredibly hard in our backyard. The retaining wall is up and the the drainage system is going in today. I'll post pictures of the transformation as soon as it is all done.
