Last Sunday, August 21, we held a celebration and blessing for Eileen and Margaret in our backyard (the yard is still a work in progress but we prettied it up with mason jars full of flowers from Grandma Trish and Grandpa Jeff's garden). Reverend Pat Callahan, close friend of the Smith family who officiated at our wedding, led the ceremony welcoming our beautiful daughters into the circle of family and friends who will guide them on their life journeys. It was a very special opportunity to pray for God's blessing on Eileen and Margaret and affirm our commitment to be sources of grace, example and support to the girls in the years ahead. Reverend Callahan offered some beautiful words to the girls and gave our family in attendance the chance to each offer a wish to the girls.

Eileen and Margaret, we are so very blessed to have you in our lives. You each are truly a gift from God and we love you so much.
