Yesterday Eileen and Margaret turned 8 months old. They have now been in the world as long as they were in my tummy...amazing. I took the pictures above yesterday; the first in the morning when they were happy campers and the last three at the end of the day after only a total of 45 minutes of napping all day long. They were exhausted baby girls but the birthday photos in Papa's chair tradition lives on!

The girls have been very busy not sleeping over the past few weeks. How funny that some of my favorite pictures of Margaret from this past month are of her sleeping like a little angel when really our amazing little sleepers seemed to take a vacation. We think the lack of sleep is due to the fact that they are teething like crazy. Eileen has three teeth coming in on the bottom and two on the top. We haven't seen any of Miss Margaret's teeth pop through yet but she is drooling and chewing on everything. We think we will see a Margaret tooth or two peek through any day now.

| Hello, Leenie! |
Eileen is still rolling all over the place and Margaret will roll over every now and again but she much prefers to bounce (and practice pilates with her abs of steel). Both girls are getting really good at sitting up by themselves and finally seem to enjoy it when we read to them. Eileen especially loves Counting Kisses and will even flip through the book on her own and Margaret smiles to herself every time I get to the wise Grandma Owl who-hooing in Down in the Woods at Sleepytime. Eileen and Margaret love their solid food and I think the favorites right now are pears and squash for Margaret and peaches for Eileen.
