Eileen and Margaret turned seven months old last Sunday, September 11. This past month was very busy, very hot and very fun with summer finally arriving to Seattle! The girls continued to try new foods (so far the favorite is pears) and started practicing drinking out of sippy cups. They are pretty much sleeping through the night with a few exceptions here and there. We put them down to sleep by 7:00 pm and we usually can make it to 5:30 am before they are hungry again. Every now and again they let us sleep until 6:30 am or so....thanks, girls! All in all, we have no complaints. They are very sweet and easy baby girls.
Eileen is still rolling all over the place and putting the pressure on us to baby proof the house ASAP. We think she is going to be crawling anytime. Margaret rolls over in her crib and when we aren't looking, that sneaky little one. They love their new bouncy seat/activity center! Margaret could bounce in that thing for hours and doesn't seem all that interested in the toys. Eileen on the other hand loves playing with the toys and is a bit tentative about the bouncing. She loves to watch Margaret bounce though!
We often call Eileen the little lion and Margaret the little monkey and Eileen has started this new thing where she will growl like a lion! It is absolutely hilarious! Maybe some monkey noises are next from Margaret...
