Eileen took her first steps on Friday, April 20! The next day we went the Mariners game and she was a little wiggle worm wanting to try those steps out at the very tippy top of the stadium after crawling up all of the concrete stairs (too much for this momma!). Margaret wanted to explore everything as well and when both girls threw fits about riding in their strollers we quickly realized that we might need to wait a little longer before we try a game again (I've never been so exhausted!).

This new "toddler" stage is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. Margaret can walk down the hallway like a little Frankenstein monster but Eileen takes 3 steps and then "boom!" - down she goes. With their new found skills the girls, especially Eileen, have become quite the climbers. We had to take Memaw's rocking chair out of their bedroom and remove the shelf from the upstairs bookshelf after Eileen climbed up and laid down in it. Eileen is such a little explorer. Today I found Eileen inside the basket in their room that holds all of their blankets while Margaret played "blankie", her favorite game. She takes all of the blankets out of the basket and wraps them around herself and snuggles down in them until she feels extra cozy. They are just the cutest!
