| Eileen and Margaret ~ playing ball in the backyard |
Leenie and Margs turned 23 months old last Friday, January 11. I can hardly believe that this is the last month that we can officially call the girls 1 year olds. Where has the time gone? They are acting more and more like 2 year olds every day...running, jumping, dancing, talking. They seem to be having so much fun all of the time (even when they are sick with the awful cold they seem to have every other week). Sweet, sweet girls.
Most of you know that Margaret is very attached to her monkey lovey, Monk-Monk, and Leenie to her Li-Li. Margaret always holds Monk-Monk up to her nose and seems to instantly relax. I asked Margaret what Monk-Monk smelled like and she said, "home." Mind you, this was when we are in the midst of all of the Christmas craziness but still, too cute! Eileen is very attached to "Baby Katie" one of my very first baby dolls. There is something so special about seeing your children loving the same toys you loved when you were little. Both girls love hearing stories about Baby Katie growing up in Spokane. Their favorite story is about naughty Baby Katie breaking the egg on the floor. I've had to cool it on that one as I don't want them to get any ideas.
Here are some of our favorite pictures from the past month...
