| Eileen and Margaret on a bus adventure with Dada and Momma to the University Farmer's Market |
It is official...Eileen and Margaret turned two years old last Monday, February 11. If you ask them how old they are they will very proudly say, "TWO!!!!" We had a very fun birthday party for the girls at our house last Sunday. Leenie was the life of the party and was right in the thick of things opening present after present (we have the most generous family and friends) but little Margaret thought the party was a little too loud and preferred to play in her room. We got her to come out every now and then for presents and cupcakes and she loved all of the "bah-loons". Leenie's birthday wish came true when she and Margaret got their first bikes! Here are some pictures from the party...thank you to everyone for making it such a special day for Leenie and Margs (and for me and Rob).

Monday, their actual birthday, we spent a quiet day at home with Nona after a visit to UVillage to ride the cars at the playground, one of the girls' favorite things to do. The girls got one of their first "manners" compliments at lunch. We were having soup from the deli at QFC and a very nice lady walked up and said that I had two of the best behaved children she had ever seen. What a proud momma moment! We've come a long way from some of the other lunches out with Nona. Dada came home from work early and we celebrated the girls birthday with pizza and cupcakes. Yummy!

Eileen and Margaret are sweet, smart, wonderful girls and we are so blessed to call them ours. I couldn't be a luckier momma. Margs falls asleep singing and wakes up singing every day. Her favorite tunes are The Wheels on the Bus, The Itsy-Bitsy Spider in both English and Spanish, and Twinkle-Twinkle Little Star. Leenie is our little nurturer and takes very good care of baby Katie (my first baby doll) and her own baby dolls. She also loves to kiss my tummy and is very excited for her little brother or sister that will be arriving in August. Here are some more of our favorite pictures from the past month...
